School Life
Schools have been given a great responsibility in developing children into responsible, God fearing individuals. A student can not learn everything they need to know through good grades and high test scores. An educational institution is called to train children to be socially healthy so that they can successfully interact with people in every area of life. ACCA endeavours to train children in several areas and disciplines of life including art, music, athletics and travel. It is critical for a school to educate children on how they are to behave and live responsibly before God in these areas.
Virtues such as integrity, diligence and teamwork can be enhanced greatly through athletic participation. Understanding absolutes such as beauty, goodness and truth are seen through images in art and the sounds of music. Treating one another and others with respect, love and kindess are tested when traveling. As students participate in these activities, teachers embrace another chance to teach them biblically how to behave. Surrounded with a Biblical worldview and Godly mentors, the children at ACCA are guided by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22,23).
